The Role
As a Senior Consultant, you will be based within the Service Consultancy Team providing SME throughout QinetiQ's service portfolio providing advice and guidance within the Service Architecture environment.

Day-to-day, you'll work with customer facing teams to design and deliver service integration, support and management models to meet customer requirements being responsible for day-to-day operational delivery assurance.

Your responsibilities will include:

Working as an SME providing Service lifecycle input into bid responses and proposals including the identification and derivation of requirementsEngaging with stakeholders ensuring value and benefits of the service and technical operations policies and processes are understoodWorking autonomously resolving complex issues with minimal guidanceInfluencing stakeholders across various positions and levelsWorking with Service Design and Transition colleagues and other teams to ensure service design packages are approved and accepted

Essential experience of the Senior Consultant:

Previous experience in Service Design and Development within large complex organisations (Service Architecture)The ability to understand service lifecycle process, cross functional and organisation design including governance structures and interface definitionsPrevious experience producing documentation and high level plansExcellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholdersThe ability to advocate for best practice providing and delivering solutions for continuous improvement

Essential qualifications for the Senior Consultant:

Certified ITIL4 Managing professionalLeading SAFe certification

This role is 37 hours per week based at our Malvern site, Hybrid working patterns available.
