Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a knack for creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for serving drinks, maintaining the bar area, and ensuring that all customers receive exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
  • Engage with customers, providing recommendations and answering questions about drink offerings.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic math skills.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food items when applicable.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
  • Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and communicate needs to management.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, showcasing strong hospitality skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain a safe environment for guests.
  • Basic math skills are necessary for handling cash transactions and managing tabs.
  • Excellent time management abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
