Job Description
Role- Control Systems Engineer
Salary- £35,000- £50,000 per annum (Dependent on experience, please advise what you're looking for)
Type- Permanent
Location- Reading
The Control Systems Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Be Degree/ HND/ HNC/ NVQ qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar
- 2 years or more of industry experience working in a similar Electrical Controls role ideally
- Be confident carrying out the programming of control systems from scratch – i.e Siemens TIA, Beckhoff TwinCAT
- Have excellent hands on electrical engineering skills
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes
- Excellent communication skills
- Flexible to travel as needed as part of the role
- Full Driving Licence
The Control Systems Engineer role will involve:
- Programming PLC's from scratch
- Being involved in full project lifecycle
- Taking solutions from concept right through to commissioning
- Delivering projects on time and within budget
- Ensuring company standards are always adhered to
- Travelling to customer sites as required for commissioning activities
- Creating the required documentation
- Providing remote technical support
