 The Senior Pharmacy Contracting Professional conducts all aspects of pharmaceutical contracting and pricing including development, implementation, and maintenance. The Senior Pharmacy Contracting Professional work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

The Senior Pharmacy Contracting Professional is responsible for overseeing relationships with Humana pharmacy partners. Key duties include supporting pharmacies throughout the contracting process, addressing daily inquiries from pharmacy partners, facilitating the collection of required compliance documentation, and assisting with new Medicaid contract implementations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree 5 of more years' experience in pharmacy contracting, pharmacy benefit management, or a closely related field 
  • 5 or more years' experience in pharmacy contracting
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with attention to detail
  • Able to give direction and make sound business decisions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree
  • Process improvement experience

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$78,400 - $107,800 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
