Gymnastics Coach

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Gymnastics Coaches to join our team, delivering engaging sessions across community classes and school clubs.

Job Overview

As a Gymnastics Coach, you will play a key role in fostering a fun, inclusive, and safe environment where children can build skills, confidence, and a love for movement. You'll lead sessions for a range of ages and abilities, delivering structured and exciting gymnastics programmes.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver gymnastics sessions tailored to different age groups and abilities
• Teach safe and effective techniques, ensuring progression and engagement
• Provide constructive feedback to help gymnasts grow
• Support physical development including flexibility, coordination, and strength
• Foster a positive, team-oriented atmosphere with an emphasis on enjoyment and participation
• Maintain a safe and tidy environment, including regular equipment checks
• Occasionally assist at events, showcases, or club competitions

Skills and Qualities

• Strong background in gymnastics or sports coaching
• Confidence in leading sessions for mixed-ability groups
• Excellent communication and motivational skills
• Organised, adaptable, and dependable
• Able to create a safe, supportive, and inspiring coaching space
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for working with children

Requirements

• Previous experience coaching gymnastics or a related discipline
• DBS check (can be arranged and covered by the club)
• Safeguarding training (can be provided by the club)
• Ability to provide at least one reference
• Relevant coaching qualifications are desirable but not essential

Rate: £16–£30 per hour (depending on experience and location)

Locations: Community venues and schools across North London

Hours: Flexible, part-time

Currently Available Sessions-

Mondays - Holloway N7 - 3:30-6:00pm

Tuesdays & Wednesdays - Angel / Kings Cross N1 - 4:30-7:30pm

Sundays - Stoke Newington -9:45am-1:00 pm
