Carpet Roles UK are delighted to be assisting their clients, a leading UK Carpet Manufacturer with their search for a new Business Area Manager to cover an area of South East to West of London and down to the South Coast.

The Company:

A leading British Manufacturer of high Quality Residential and Contract Woven Axminster and Tufted Carpets with a particular bias towards the Hospitality sector (Hotels, Restaurants, Casino's etc.) via the A&D (Architects and Designers) Specification route to market.

The Role:

To Cover an area across the South East including London calling upon Flooring Contractors, Interior Designers and Architects and End Users within predominantly the Hotel and Catering (Hospitality) sector, introducing the companies range of high quality designer Carpets in both Woven Axminster and Tufted (both Stock and special bespoke designs) ranges.

The Person:
  • Ideally an experienced Representative from a Contract Flooring Sales background.
  • Well Presented with Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal and Written).
  • Retail or Distributor Sales Rep Experience would be considered.
  • Design awareness.
  • Real Drive and enthusiasm.
  • Up to date IT Skills (Outlook / Microsoft Office etc.).
  • Smart Appearance and interpersonal skills.
  • Driving License – Company Car provided. 
The Location:

The Role will cover the following Postal Code areas of the South East so ideally you will be centrally based to them – Basically Home Counties to Brighton. As stated, the role comes with a Company Car so must be prepared to travel throughout the area as part of the role.
