In this pivotal role, you will oversee the contractual aspects of our projects, ensuring compliance with legal and company standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contracts from initiation through to completion, including negotiating terms, advising on risks, and ensuring all parties fulfill their obligations. You will work closely with various stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and project teams, to facilitate clear communication and resolve any contractual disputes that may arise. This position demands strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of contracts from drafting to execution to closure.
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions to protect the best interests of the company.
  • Provide expert guidance on contractual disputes, risk assessment, and compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to align contract performance with project goals.
  • Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of contracts and correspondence.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar role within the construction or engineering sectors.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and compliance.
  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in law, business, or related field is preferred.
