Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and kitchen management, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to food safety. As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences while supervising kitchen staff and ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth food production and service.
  • Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to menu specifications and food safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings.
  • Monitor inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to ensure consistent food production.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with dietary restrictions and preferences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen.
  • Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Proficiency in food preparation techniques, including cooking methods, presentation, and plating.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.
  • A passion for culinary arts and a desire to create memorable dining experiences for guests.
