Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Installation and Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing lighting systems, with a strong focus on remanufactured LED luminaires. This role involves ensuring compliance with the latest safety and efficiency standards while delivering exceptional service to our clients.

We are looking for qualified electricians with domestic and commercial experience. Works that successful candidates will be required to undertake include:

• Commercial lighting upgrades
• EV charger installations (training will be given)
• Fixed Wire Testing
• Door entry installations (training will be given)

Please note that this role involves working away. Overnight allowance premiums are offered when working away from home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation: Install lighting systems according to project specifications, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing lighting systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Upgrades: Implement upgrades to existing lighting systems, including the installation of sensors and emergency lighting.
• Testing: Conduct comprehensive testing of remanufactured luminaires to ensure they meet performance and safety standards.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction with our lighting solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and repairs performed.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an electrician, with a focus on lighting systems.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation techniques, and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid electrician's license or certification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required:

• Valid ECS Grade Card
• Recognised Apprenticeship / Electrician SVQ Level 3
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Approved Health & Safety Assessment
• Full clean driving licence.
• Previous experience working within domestic and commercial projects / minor works / maintenance environment.

Preferable but not compulsory:

• City & Guilds 2391, (2391/2394/2395)
• PASMA certification
• IPAF Certification - Types 1b, 3a & 3b
• PAT Testing experience
• Disclosure Scotland Certificate
• EICR Inspection & Testing Experience
