Ethicare are a home care provider based in Pudsey, our service provides personal and social care to vulnerable adults, young people and children in their homes, by assisting with daily activities, administering medications, personal care, household tasks, and providing companionship with individual needs, always maintaining dignity, respect and promoting independence.

We are now recruiting for an experienced Field Care Supervisor to join Ethicare.

Main duties of a Field Care Supervisor:

• Based in the community conducting visits to review and assess the work of our Carers.
• You will be responsible for supervising, supporting, and guiding a team of carers in the community on a daily basis.
• You will also carry out reviews of our service users and meet with families & social workers to discuss care packages.
• Carrying out visits to customers' homes to carry out initial Customer Assessments.
• Carry out Risk Assessments
• Assessment of new service packages
• Support Worker supervision & support
• Spot checks on support worker competency.
• Assisting with Field Care Supervisor work within the Leeds & Wakefield areas.
• To supervise and support our care workers, ensuring that our values are always maintained by our team members.
• To conduct unannounced spot checks, supervisions and support visits with our carers, including the mentoring of newest members.
• To carry out field observations.
• Help to identify if further training is required for care workers.

Experience Required:

• Experience of managing care workers in the community.
• Team player.
• Flexible
• Car driver essential.
• Domiciliary care experience.

The successful applicants will be based in our Leeds office but travel to and from the areas of Leeds and Wakefield will be required, therefore you must be a driver with access to your own transport to be considered for this role.
