Fire Systems Service Engineer (PAVA)

What you'll be doing: This is a mix of field work, fault-finding, system upgrades, and client support. You'll handle the full range of PAVA and fire alarm system responsibilities: commissioning, testing, repairs, and documentation. You'll also advise clients, mentor junior techs now and then, and respond to emergency call-outs when needed.

What you'll need

Solid hands-on experience with PAVA, PA, or fire alarm systems

Strong electrical knowledge (especially audio/control gear)

City & Guilds, NVQ, or similar electrical/fire/audio qualifications

Tidy and methodical with good fault-finding instincts

Confident communicator — clients, engineers, managers

Good grip on safety regs and compliance standards

Willingness to join the on-call rota

Nice to have

Experience with IP-based or digital PA/VA systems

Fire/PAVA system integration experience

Confidence in providing tech support remotely
