London, Greater London, United Kingdom Filming For Humanity Full time £45,000 - £55,000 per year

Filming for Humanity (FFH) produces impactful educational films, and we're seeking a Marketing Intern to help share our stories on social media. If you love film, creativity, and purpose, we'd love you with us.

What difference will you make?

As our Production Supervisor, you will play a central role in bringing one of Filming for Humanity's biggest film projects to life. Your leadership will ensure that we select the right cast, recruit with intention, and coordinate production elements smoothly and professionally.

By working closely with our Founder, Legal Lead, Treasurer, Location Manager, and storyboard team, you will create the structure that keeps the entire production running with clarity, confidence, and cohesion.

Your contribution will directly impact the quality of our film — from assembling talented actors to ensuring contracts, payments, and logistics are handled correctly. Because of your guidance, we will be able to deliver a powerful movie that truly reflects our mission and inspires the communities we serve.

In short, your work will strengthen our production process, elevate our creative output, and help Filming for Humanity produce a film that has the potential to change lives.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a warm, organised, and proactive Production Supervisor who thrives on collaboration and brings a positive, "let's make it happen" energy to everything they do.

Essential Skills And Experience Include

  • Experience in production coordination, supervising, or casting (film, TV, theatre, or creative projects)
  • Confidence managing recruitment and working with actors, extras, and creative teams
  • Experience collaborating with legal teams on contracts and onboarding
  • Ability to manage timelines, logistics, and multiple moving parts with calm and clarity
  • Comfortable working with budgets and liaising with the Treasurer on payments
  • Understanding of pre-production workflows, storyboards, and shoot preparation
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to bring people together

Personal qualities we value

  • A positive, encouraging attitude
  • Strong leadership with kindness and diplomacy
  • Detail-oriented but flexible and solution-driven
  • Passion for storytelling and social-impact films
  • Ability to stay grounded during busy or high-pressure phases

Lived Experience That Would Be Beneficial

  • Experience working with diverse casts and crews
  • Previous involvement in socially impactful or educational film projects
  • Understanding of community stories or social themes reflected in our films

This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a genuine difference while shaping a landmark film project — and we'll be thrilled to welcome the right person into our creative family.

What will you be doing?

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive
Production Supervisor
to support the casting and coordination of one of Filming for Humanity's most ambitious film projects to date.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee casting and ensure we secure the strongest possible actors and extras for each role.
You'll work closely with our Founder and Director to understand the creative vision, identify talent, organise auditions, and support the selection process.

  • You will also collaborate with our Head of Legal & Governance to review contracts, consent forms, and onboarding documentation — ensuring every cast and crew member joins the project safely and in full compliance.
  • Alongside this, you'll work with our Treasurer to coordinate payment schedules, track budgets related to casting, and help maintain clean and transparent financial processes. Your role will also involve supporting our Location Manager and working with the storyboard team to ensure cast, locations, and scenes align smoothly during pre-production.
  • This is a hands-on role that requires confidence, initiative, and a positive, "let's get it done" mindset. You will be the connective force between our creative, administrative, and operational teams — making sure everyone stays informed, supported, and aligned.

Key priorities include

  • Managing casting calls, shortlists, auditions, and selections
  • Coordinating communication with actors, extras, and agencies
  • Ensuring all contracts and documentation are completed accurately
  • Supporting recruitment across key production roles
  • Liaising with the Treasurer on payments and cast expenses
  • Collaborating with the Location Manager on logistical planning
  • Working with the storyboard team to align talent and scenes
  • Maintaining clear organisation of assets, schedules, and casting records
  • Your contribution will directly affect the quality of this film. With your leadership, we'll be able to deliver a well-coordinated production, attract exceptional talent, and create a movie that truly reflects the heart of Filming for Humanity.
  • This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves film, values teamwork, and wants to play a central role in building a meaningful project from the ground up.
