This is the jobAs our Financial Modeller, you'll help shape the AA's future through dynamic financial modelling and business partnering. You'll lead the development of a robust, agile Group 5-Year Plan model, enabling fast, data-driven decisions across the business. This is your chance to influence key planning cycles, support a fast-growing business unit, and deliver insights that drive real change.
You'll collaborate with senior stakeholders, contribute to high-level presentations, and support critical initiatives like credit rating reviews, refinancing, and potential acquisitions. What will I be doing?- Drive the evolution of our Group 5-Year Plan model—making it smarter, faster, and more insightful to support bold, strategic decisions across the business.
- Collaborate with Business Units to shape forecasts and assumptions that challenge the status quo and unlock new opportunities.
- Partner with stakeholders in AAX, one of our most exciting growth areas, to deliver high-impact modelling and analysis that fuels rapid expansion.
- Turn complex financial data into clear, compelling presentations that influence senior decision-makers and shape the future of the AA.
- Get involved in high-profile projects—from credit rating reviews to M&A analysis—building your exposure and making your mark across the wider Finance team.
Capability, Knowledge and Experience:
- Advanced Excel skills, with bonus points for experience in VBA or Power Query
- Financial Modelling experience within a Group FP&A team at a large, complex organisation
- Confident communicator with experience building strong relationships in fast-paced environments
- Skilled in preparing clear, compelling presentations for senior stakeholders
- A strong mix of financial expertise and commercial awareness
- Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into business insight
Education and Qualifications:
- Professional qualification in Finance ( ACCA, ACA, CIMA or similar),with post-qualification experience.
