Regulatory Reporting Analyst (Permanent, Full Time)

You'll work with stakeholders across the business and external bodies to provide accurate, timely information, helping us reduce risk and improve efficiency. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a trusted expert in regulatory data and drive meaningful improvements in how we manage and report information.
Salary
– Up to £32,000 per annum dependant on experience
Location
– Hull, Carr Lane, 2 days office based minimum

What You'll Be Doing
- Act as the go-to expert for data and methodologies supporting regulatory and industry information requests.
- Analyse and present data to meet obligations from regulators and government stakeholders.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts across the business to gather and validate data assets.
- Identify and resolve data gaps that could impact compliance, implementing improvement strategies.
- Ensure best practices and consistency in data processes to build confidence and repeatability.
- Explore automation opportunities to streamline recurring regulatory reporting tasks.
Essential
What We're Looking For
- Degree-level qualification in a mathematical or technical discipline.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication skills - able to explain technical concepts simply and clearly.
Preferred
- Data literacy and understanding of relational data principles.
- Experience with tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, DAX, Alteryx, Python, or R.
- Background in IT, utilities, or service provision is a plus.
