Role Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable GCSE Maths Tutors to deliver 1:1 sessions and small group lessons.
This role is ideal for undergraduates, postgraduates, or current teachers who excel in Maths and want to gain tutoring experience in a supportive, structured environment.
What We're Looking For
Essential Requirements
- Minimum Grade 8 in GCSE Maths
- Achieved at least Grade A in A-Level Maths (or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of the KS3, GCSE and A-Level Maths curriculum
- Fluent in English and confident explaining concepts clearly
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Passion for supporting young learners
Desirable (not required)
- Currently studying a Maths-related degree (e.g., Maths, Engineering, Economics, Physics, Computer Science)
- Experience tutoring friends, siblings, or informal groups
- Experience working with young people (schools, mentoring, clubs)
- Familiarity with mastery learning or adaptive learning tools

- Support students to build strong foundations and exam confidence
- Use diagnostic insights to tailor explanations and practice
- Provide clear feedback to help students progress
