Role Overview

Are you a dynamic, action orientated leader who can head a cross-functional squad dedicated to driving data change with our key external partner? We are looking for a Head of Data Delivery on an 18 months Fixed Term Contract. This role is pivotal in modernising our data infrastructure. You will build scalable, secure, and future-proof suite of data solutions. Your work will enable analytics, and foster a data-enabled culture across Nest.

You will work closely with our key external partner; and lead an multi-disciplinary squad responsible for delivering across the Data & Insight space. Outputs include a new, useable, modern Data Platform; and the development of a Joint Data Team. Your squad will include skills of data engineering, modelling and analytics, digital analytics and data platform best practice.  

The Head of Data Delivery will help build the squad, and organise the project. You will make links between the project, technology, with what it means for everyday users. You will represent as a technical subject matter expert in decision making.

The minimum criteria for this role are:
-Supplier Management and Project Delivery Skills 

-Has proven knowledge and experience in building and delivering data / data platform solutions.  A recognised specialist and adviser in these skills, including user needs, generation of ideas, methods, tools and leading or guiding others in best practice use in Data Platforming and use. 

-Experience of managing internal / external supplier relationships, to deliver data solutions. 

-Holds a deep knowledge of best practice and new capabilities in the data profession. 

-Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to influence and garner support from both peers and senior stakeholders 

-Experience of prioritisation between multiple teams and demands 

-Extensive knowledge of data delivery requirements 

-Experience Leading Teams 

-Experience in coaching others and leading a team of technical subject matter experts. 

-Experience integrating internal and external teams. 

-Experience leading complex, multidisciplinary projects, requiring delegation of work and the review of others' work product. 

-Can contribute to the assessment of other teams, providing guidance and support as necessary.
