Overview

NB is a reputable and growing company specializing in high-quality sandblasting services. We take pride in delivering exceptional results and maintaining strong customer relationships. As we expand, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sandblaster & General Labourer to join our team.

Duties

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, masking, and ensuring proper adhesion for further treatments.
  • Operate sandblasting equipment to remove rust, paint, and other contaminants from surfaces.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot sandblasting equipment to ensure proper operation.
  • Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials as needed.
  • Support the team with general labour tasks around the workshop.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company procedures.
  • Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production deadlines.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sandblasting or a similar role is preferred but not essential—training can be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations related to sandblasting.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.21-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 39 per week
