Job Overview:

We are currently seeking an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods across various locations using lorry and taut liner trailer. Shifts are scheduled for the week ahead on Friday, we require the successful candidate to work 5 days on days from Monday to Friday and 6 days on Nights, Sunday to Friday. Various start times available.

EXTRAS:

  • PAYE and LTD drivers accepted,
  • £18/hour PAYE, LTD-£180 day/night shifts
  • Maximum shift time 12 hours (including breaks)
  • Steady all around the year work guaranteed

Duties:

- Drive HGV lorries to transport goods and materials to designated locations

- Ensure Cargo it is securely fastened

- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns before each journey

- Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the transportation manager

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance

Requirements:

- Hold a valid Class 1 HGV License with a maximum of 9 points on record

- CPC card, Tacho Card and a Proven experience as a HGV Class 1 driver of 2 years

- Ability to drive long distances while adhering to road safety regulations

- Strong customer-oriented approach
