The role

Reporting to the Head of Partnerships, the Accountant Partner Channel Manager will be a key player in AccountsIQ's growth plans. You'll be given the freedom to establish a vision for scaling our Accountant Partner channel by creating a world-class Accountant Partner Programme.

You will be accountable for recruiting new Accountant partners, driving the accountants' promotion of, and investment in AccountsIQ and generating a flow of sales to ensure that you deliver and exceed our Accountant Partner annual recurring revenue targets. You'll be a key player in establishing a strong and trusted relationship between AccountsIQ and the top Accountancy Practices in the UK and Ireland. Based in the UK or Ireland, you'll be a self-starter capable of frequently travelling to AccountsIQ's office and meeting with new and existing partners. 

What you'll be doing

  • Identifying new accountant partners for AccountsIQ to collaborate with to grow and maximise AccountsIQ's new logo acquisition and recurring revenue streams.
  • Working with existing Accountant partners to generate new logo wins and additional recurring revenue streams via joint go-to-market strategies.
  • Creating Accountant partner enablement plans for each partner and agreeing on growth targets.
  • Creating a partner programme/framework to strengthen the relationship between AccountsIQ and our new and existing Accountant partners.
  • Operating as the main point of contact for Accountant partners by working closely with our Pre-Sales, Onboarding, Customer Success and Support teams to ensure success for our partners and their customers.
  • Forecasting and tracking Accountant partner-generated sales pipeline to feed into management/board reporting and future year planning.
  • Acting as a thought leader in the accountants' world. Hang out where they hang out and establish yourself as a trusted authority with the professional bodies and accountant networks.
  • Troubleshooting and helping to solve any Accountant partner problems that arise.
  • Working closely with the marketing team to create campaigns to drive Accountant channel sales.
  • Liaising with our product and engineering teams to identify any future product roadmap candidates that will accelerate recurring revenue from the accountant partner channel.

What you'll need

  • 10 years+ of Accountant Partner channel management experience, preferably within the SaaS B2B financial accounting/fintech space.
  • A proven track record of delivering recurring revenue via a partner channel.
  • Experience in identifying partnership opportunities, qualifying them and ultimately generating revenue from the relationship.
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence at C-Level with a high degree of credibility and gravitas.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple ongoing projects and make decisions on your own when required.
  • Experience with a sales methodology such as SPIN or Challenger would be preferred.
