IMW Associate Director of Marketing
IMW Campus is looking for an Associate Director of Marketing with a community orientated entrepreneurial spirit and management experience in Further or Higher Music Education or related industry.
We are a community led educational charity with over forty years of very successful delivery of high-quality training in Music Production and Sound Recording. Our brand mission is to deliver audio excellence and high value courses in the community.
We have state-of-the-art Studios designed by world renowned Acoustics experts and world-class Solid-State Logic Technology.
We have contracts with the United College Group and the University of East London to deliver further and higher education qualifications in Music Production by highly qualified and successful teaching staff.

The Associate Directors Brief:
You will be a market focused member of IMW's leadership team maintaining, developing and promoting our core business in Music Production education and training.
You will create dynamic and innovative marketing strategies and set and achieve targets and KPIs in the areas of market share, student recruitment, retention and satisfaction.
You will work with a small but highly motivated team of Course Director, Administrator, Tutors and Technical Support, managing the smooth running of all marketing and student recruitment activities, developing and implementing strategies and improvements in effective working across the business.
You are dynamic and success-driven with the ability to deliver on a wide spread of operational skills, team build and establish direct relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, course applicants, students, the board of trustees, educational organisations and academic institutions.
You will provide monthly reports, analytics and insights to the Board of Trustees in order to achieve dynamic strategic and operational targets.

Job Description
Reporting to the IMW Board working 3 days per week onsite.
Remuneration Package: Salary £30,000 pa plus 3% employers pension contribution
Responsibilities:
Lead the marketing, promotion and advertising of IMW Campus Further and Higher education courses in Sound Recording and Music Production.
Create innovative marketing strategies and set and achieve targets and KPIs in the areas of market share, student recruitment, retention and satisfaction.
Oversee brand management and the design of innovative marketing materials.
Update and publish communications content including website, paid advertising, social media, and email campaigns.
Manage and brief consultants re; Google Ads, Google Analytics, PPC and SEO.
Maintain best practices and technologies for optimum marketing performance and ROI.
Oversee and up-date a fully functioning company website using Wordpress Elementor in collaboration with web developer and designer
Manage and control marketing budget.
Make your mark with a significant contribution to the development of IMW Campus.
Create a 3-year marketing development plan and subject to board approval, implement a marketing development strategy.
Make proactive, solutions-focused decisions with a "can do" attitude.
Work towards building a marketing team
Oversee a full calendar of marketing and student recruitment events including Open Days, Applicant Days, Taster Sessions, HE Fairs, Masterclasses, and school/college outreach.
Lead on event planning and communications strategy.
Support Widening Participation and Access and Participation Plan (APP) objectives
Manage relationships with external partners including UCAS, WhatUni, FutureLearn, and other education marketing platforms.
Collaborate with industry partners, artists, and brands for joint campaigns and events.
You will provide monthly reports, analytics and insights to the Board of Trustees in order to achieve dynamic strategic and operational targets.
Associate Director of Business Development
Essential Criteria
You have an excellent port-folio selection of the following essential Experience and Skills:
A Degree or higher in Marketing or Development or equivalent experience plus:
Proven success in implementing marketing strategies in further or higher educational settings.
Proven success at implementing marketing strategies for courses in music production and sound recording.
Evidence of achieving sustainable, measurable growth across key market segments. Experience of using data analysis to create sales strategies.
Experience of devising pricing strategies and improving bottom line contribution. Digital focus with experience of sales pipeline reporting solutions and data analysis. Experience of budget management and platform level optimisations.
Strong analytical skills and experience using Google Ads, Google Analytics. PPC and SEO knowledge.
Experience in best practices for optimum performance and ROI.
Experience of creating, managing, and optimising paid and unpaid search and social media campaigns.
Experience of regularly reporting on the performance of paid search campaigns to a leadership team and making recommendations for improvement
Strong Social Media experience.
You have a track record of managing a business website and working with web designers contributing to the development and management of Word-press web sites.
Organising experience of student recruitment events including Open Days, Applicant Days, Taster Sessions, HE Fairs, Masterclasses, and school/college outreach.
Experience of providing regular reports, analytics and insights to Board level.
