Senior Director, Partner Network, Global Network (Hybrid)

This role will ultimately manage Global Networks' partner relationships. The incumbent reports to the Senior Vice President of Global Networks and develops alignment with partner markets to meet contractual obligations.

In this role, you will be accountable for partner contracting, i.e., renewals, fee methodology, and financials, as well as the partner champion for BCD sales acquisition activities. You will focus on business reviews and communications with Partners to ensure clear alignment on BCD's vision and direction.

You will drive awareness of BCD tools and technology as well as Security/Compliance requirement.

As a Senior Director, Partner Management, Global Network, you will

  • Develop and contribute to the strategic plans for the Global Network and gain support across the business for their successful adoption
  • Represent BCD's and its partners' interests, fostering strong value propositions and ROI for both BCD and its partners, as well as strategic direction for innovation aligned to BCD's products and services (fit for purpose), which is driven by customer expectations
  • Establish and communicate the key targets (annually) to effectively deliver the agreed Global Network strategy (e.g. introduction of new IT, new sales development, etc.)
  • Create and capitalize on new income stream opportunities (e.g., partner fee models, new supplier deals, product sales to partners for use with local non-BCD clients, etc.).
  • Be an ambassador for global initiatives, driving support and compliance (e.g., Business Continuity Plans, IT Security, etc.)
  • Be a key intermediary between BCD-owned / specialist functions and partners
  • Manage the performance of direct reports and down-line employees

About You

  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in a Business/Financial/Language/Cultural studies discipline
  • Extensive experience in a global corporate travel agency
  • Experience of multi-national sales, vendor relationships, if possible, combined with agency experience in operations and technology
  • Direct involvement with worldwide travel networks and can demonstrate successful global consolidation across procurement and sales
  • Adept at conducting business in multi-cultural and multi-faceted domains and achieving win/win outcomes for all parties
  • Excellent communication skills, sensitive to the particular global audience (written, presentations, public speaking)
  • Willing and flexible to travel regularly, both short and long-haul, sometimes with limited notice to fulfill role requirements
