Job Description
Are you passionate about quality? An opportunity has arisen for a Quality Inspector to join a Global leading Manufacturer based in East Yorkshire. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary, free on-site parking and flexible hours with an early finish on a Friday.
As a Quality Inspector, your responsibilities will include:
Perform inspection activities across mechanical components, assemblies, and finished products.Ensure internal procedures, customer specifications, and relevant industry standards.Maintain accurate records and manage inspection documentation to support traceability and compliance.Identify non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective action activities.Work collaboratively with production, engineering, and quality teams to ensure consistent product quality.Communicate inspection findings clearly, both verbally and in written reports.The successful Quality Inspector will have
- Technical understanding and hands-on experience in mechanical discipline
- Familiarity with quality standards and regulatory requirements (internal and external).
- Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in documentation control.
- Confident communicator with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
- Previous experience in a quality or inspection role within manufacturing is highly desirable.
This role offers a competitive salary and working hours are Monday to Friday with an early finish on a Friday and the business is commutable from Scarborough, Driffield, Bridlington and surrounding areas.
