We are looking for a Property Cleaner (part time, 15 hours per week) to join the team at Quarter Short Lets on a fixed term contract until 14th December 2025 to help ensure that the short let rooms and Airbnb properties that we manage look great all the time

Details of the Property Cleaner role:
  • 15 hours per week worked over 2-3 shifts each week (rota based, including weekends). We are ideally looking for people who can work Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays on a regular basis.
  • Hourly rate: £12.60 per hour (plus 45p mileage if you are a driver) - this rises to £13.10 per hour upon completion of a successful 12-week probation period.
  • Travel time between properties is paid, as are parking expenses for our driving team members
  • Expenses are paid fortnightly
  • In this department, we can be quite flexible with contracted hours - if you are looking for fewer or more than the hours above, just let us know your preference when you apply
  • We usually operate between 9am-5pm Monday to Sunday.
  • Fixed working days may possibly be offered but most team members are required to work at least one weekend day regularly.
  • Potential to extend at the end of the fixed term contract.

Quarter Short Lets comprises two brands: Host360 and Clifton Short Lets. We manage a variety of residential properties all over Bristol, ranging from short let rooms in large Georgian properties, urban apartments to country cottages. Please note that, while non-drivers are welcome to apply, we would prioritise candidates who are able to drive and use their own vehicle (must be a car/van) or those who have a license and who would have the option to drive our electric Renault Kangoo van to get around the properties for cleaning. Travel time between properties is paid, and the company also reimburses, fortnightly, any paid parking near our properties. We would like to reiterate that non-drivers can apply too, as the team have methods in place to facilitate transport between the properties.

We provide full training, but some evidence of a similar cleaning or hands on, physical job would be preferred.

Responsibilities of our property cleaners:
  • Cleaning properties as assigned on the rota - using our head office building in Clifton as your base (equipment and healthy snacks are provided here), you'll then be moving between different properties in the Clifton and Wider Bristol area - from short let rooms in shared houses to Airbnb properties including apartments and larger houses
  • Restocking kitchen and bathroom supplies (tea, coffee, shampoo etc)
  • Reporting any property maintenance issues to the manager
  • Checking for extra tasks required at the property that day and carrying them out
Our ideal Property Cleaner candidate:
  • Works well independently and unsupervised
  • Is flexible to the last minute changes that can happen in a hospitality role
  • Will communicate well with the team
  • Has great attention to detail
  • Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not required
  • Will ideally have a driving license and either be happy to drive our small electric van or will have their own car/van that they are happy to use for work.
