This leading UK and international law firm has two excellent opportunities for experienced Senior Associates to join their thriving Banking & Finance practice in London. Their highly rated team is recognised by clients to be one of the most innovative and solution-orientated legal practices in the City today; as the challenges to clients have increased over the last few years, the team have stayed true to their core offering of legal technical excellence wrapped in commercial awareness, enabling them to continue to fulfil the role of being a trusted advisor and strengthening close relationships. For role 1, they seek an individual with proven experience in Corporate Lending, with the position involving exposure to a wide range of high quality transactions; you would typically act on all elements of a financing from term sheet stage, through to closing and post-closing, with areas of responsibility including the drafting and negotiation of facility agreements and intercreditor agreements, negotiating security documents, liaising with local counsel on multi-jurisdictional matters, supervising other members of the team, and ensuring a smooth process to a transactions close. For role 2, they seek an individual with proven experience in Specialty Finance / Private Credit, with the position centering on various types of corporate cashflow and structured finance transactions across different asset classes; you can expect to look at borrowing base structures (corporate lends, warehouses and private securitisations), cashflow or recurring revenue lends, growth capital facilities, and various forms of mezzanine transactions; with exposure to multiple different clients, sectors, and associated techniques, this is an excellent platform for an entrepreneurial, ambitious private credit lawyer.
