About Us

Edge Computers Limited is an established technology refurbishment company now expanding into property renovation and development. We've recently purchased a large commercial building in the Saltney area of Chester and are beginning a full renovation project. We're looking for a reliable, hard-working Labourer to join the team and support the day-to-day site operations.

The Role

You'll work closely with our Project Manager and tradespeople to help prepare, maintain and progress the renovation works. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with general construction experience who takes pride in their work and wants consistent, local work on a well-managed project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out general labouring duties including lifting, shifting, and assisting trades
  • Prepare and clean work areas, ensuring site is tidy and safe at all times
  • Assist with basic demolition, wall removal and site clearance
  • Help with delivery unloading and movement of materials
  • Support trades such as plasterers, electricians, painters and plumbers
  • Follow all on-site Health & Safety procedures and instructions

What We're Looking For

  • Prior experience as a construction labourer or site assistant preferred
  • Valid CSCS card (preferred but not essential for the right candidate)
  • Physically fit and reliable with a strong work ethic
  • Punctual, positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a small team
  • Driving licence an advantage (site located in Saltney, Chester)
