Our Adult Safeguarding and Duty Service is a busy, supportive and friendly team who provide a responsive city-wide single contact point for Adult Assessment Social Care, dealing with urgent issues and crisis intervention; this includes triaging all incoming safeguarding concerns for Adult Assessment Services and mitigating immediate risks for adults at risk of harm or abuse.

The successful candidate would have a broad understanding of care planning, safeguarding and how to co-ordinate proportionate and timely assessments to meet identified outcomes for Adults at the first point of contact in a fast paced environment and a comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, including The Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005.

About the role
