CSCS Builders Cleaner

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team, responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various premises. Previous experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties across designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces
• Ensure all cleaning tasks meet health and safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll as needed
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management promptly
• Follow specific cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to address any special requirements or concerns
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently

Experience

• Previous experience in cleaning on building sites is preferred
• CSCS card is required
• Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning activities
• Driving licence is desirable for roles requiring travel between sites
• Proficiency in English to facilitate clear communication with clients and team members
• Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for clients and visitors
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively within the team and with clients
