Key responsibilities of the Kitchen Porter will include:
- Washing and sanitising dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils
- Assisting with the basic food preparation as directed by the chefs
- Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean, tidy, and free from hazards
- Managing waste disposal in accordance with our environmental policies
- Supporting the kitchen team with general tasks as required
The Ideal Kitchen Porter:
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter is a plus, but not mandatory
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure kitchen environment
- Team player with good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff
