Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair.
  • Engage with customers to provide excellent service and assist with their drink selections.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, demonstrating basic maths skills for processing payments.
  • Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and communication during busy periods.
  • Uphold high standards of customer service while managing time effectively during peak hours.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or bartending role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong knowledge of hospitality practices and customer service excellence.
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash and processing transactions accurately.
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in a bar environment.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
  • A friendly demeanour with the ability to work well within a team and help create a positive atmosphere for guests.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: £10.00-£15.00 per hour
