GEC carries out electrical installations in the following fields: CHP generators, Heat Pumps, BMS, Control Panels, Boiler Houses and metering installations on various sites throughout the UK.
The successful applicant will benefit from long-term career progression plus the opportunity to look after projects in the future. Applicants would be expected to work away for projects if required.
Main duties include:
- Work from technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications to deliver accurate and safe installations
- Undertake fault-finding, testing, and inspection to ensure full compliance with the latest regulations and standards
- Installing industrial containment/ cabling systems to high standards
- Maintain accurate records of completed works, inspections, and compliance certificates
- Liaise with site managers, engineers, and contractors to coordinate work schedules and meet project deadlines
- Manage tools, equipment, and materials efficiently
- Assist in developing apprentices and junior team members where needed

Essential criteria:
- ECS Gold Card
- C&G 2391 Inspection and Testing or equivalent
- Industrial/commercial installation experience
- Full clean UK driving licence
- Ability to read wiring diagrams
- Own hand tools (specialist tools are supplied)
Desirable criteria:
- Asbestos awareness
- IPAF
- PASMA
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour
