An exciting NI Team is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to join their growing team As a member of the Data Science team, you will be instrumental in delivering and deploying artificial intelligence and machine learning models that drive their long term success. The Data Science Team really took off in Belfast in 2024 and there is a large pipeline of exciting work for the Data Science team to work on. You will be joining a team of talented and collaborative data scientists and machine learning engineers eager to grow the business and deliver measurable results. What do you need?

  • More than four years of hands-on work in data science, delivering insights and analytical solutions.
  • Proven ability to design, build, and deploy predictive models in real-world production environments
  • Track record of reframing business challenges as data-driven questions and crafting creative, sometimes unconventional, analytical solutions.
  • Experience creating machine-learning models with commonly used frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, R) to generate measurable business impact.
  • Highly proficient in Python for scientific and statistical computing, comfortable working in SQL, and experienced using Jupyter notebooks.
  • Familiar with structuring and packaging code for deployment, versioning, and reuse.
