About Us
Daisy Homecare began in August 2024 and we are a very small team of care workers, working independently to help individual's living within their own home with their day to day living requirements. We also strive to help combat loneliness through our social visits and help individual's access the community more often.
Daisy Homecare is accredited with the ISO 9001 certification by Citation and we have partnered with Bupa on their Employee Assistance Programme which includes:
- A 24/7 helpline for employees and their loved ones - anyone over 16 years living at the same address
- Specialist wellbeing helpline offered by qualified counsellors
- Legal and financial specialist helplines to provide factual information only
- Access to unlimited online self-help support
Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated (self-employed) Care Workers to join our team in providing exceptional support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Your commitment to patient care and your ability to create a warm and nurturing environment will be essential in helping our clients maintain their dignity and independence.
Duties
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support clients with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition according to dietary needs.
- Assist with mobility and transportation, including driving clients to appointments or social activities.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behaviour to the relevant healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all necessary hygiene protocols are followed.
- Participate in training sessions and team meetings to continually improve care practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in care roles such as senior care, home care, or hospice care is preferred but not essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid driving licence is required for the purpose of the job role and transporting clients as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends if required.

Support is provided every step of the way, along with on going training and guidance.
We are currently looking for an individual who can work weekends - both morning till midday and evening until finish.
This position is ideal for an individual who may not be available during weekdays, but can start early and does not mind a later finish on a weekend, as our operating hours are between 7am and 10pm.
