We are a specialist healthcare recruitment agency connecting highly skilled medical professionals with NHS and private hospital opportunities across the UK. We are currently seeking an experienced Breast Radiology Consultant to join our client's team on a locum or flexible basis.

Role Overview:

As a Consultant Radiologist specialising in breast imaging, you will provide expert diagnostic services, supporting breast cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment pathways. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and multidisciplinary environment with flexible shifts to suit your schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and interpret diagnostic breast imaging including mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and interventional procedures.
  • Produce timely and accurate reports to support clinical decision-making.
  • Attend and contribute to multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
  • Provide advice to clinicians and support patient care across the breast service pathway.
  • Contribute to quality assurance, audits, and service improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
  • Consultant-level experience in breast radiology, with demonstrable skills in diagnostic and interventional breast procedures.
  • Experience in NHS or private hospital breast services preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care, safety, and confidentiality.
