The role consists of 16-18 hours per week, Wednesday & Thursday working days, based in our on Fore Street, Heavitree. The successful candidate will be given a comprehensive induction and supported to flourish in an environment which promotes each staff member to be the best version of themselves.

Job Summary:

You will have the following experience, skills and attributes -

  • Have a full and relevant level 2 qualification in Childcare.
  • Be an inspiring practitioner with a sound knowledge of child development.
  • Be proficient in leading the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning.
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A good working knowledge of the EYFS framework and the ability to support staff in using the framework.
  • Experience and knowledge of safeguarding practice.
  • Ideally previous experience in a similar role
  • Be a good team player who enjoys working as part of a close-knit family
  • Have the ability to use initiative and to create inspiring and creative activities
  • Be positive, enthusiastic and enjoy working with children
