Job Description

Tatjana von Stein is a London based interior and architectural design studio (formerly known as Sella Concept) founded in 2016.

Our spaces range from Residential to hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants, wellness and members' clubs. Now with international reach, working across multiple locations, including London, New York, Paris, Zurich, and Mallorca. With unique creations for clients including Locke Hotels, Dice FM, The Conran Shop, Incognito Group at Ascot Racecourse, and Olivia von Halle's pop-up at Harrods. Tatjana von Stein has quickly become recognised for its timeless, indulgent style with a subtle theatrical flair.

Tatjana's work is recognised in the interior design press worldwide and is nominated for several prestigious design awards.

Studio management

This role is pivotal to ensuring the efficient and smooth running of the TvS studio. Providing support to the design team to enable them to carry out their job roles effectively, ensuring the studio is kept to the required standard expected of a luxury interior design studio. You will need to be highly organised and able to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

// Managing all IT, software, telecoms subscriptions etc across business

// Managing all elements of the building maintenance, including the utilities, cleaning, insurance and security

// Supporting the team with general studio administration e.g .post and deliveries, stationery, keeping the studio clean, tidy and organised and most importantly, ensuring snack supplies are topped up

// Ensuring the everyone is briefed on key events on a weekly basis

// Working with the studio travel agent to organise efficient and timely international travel for the team

// Organising any team socials i.e., monthly team lunch, Summer and Christmas party

// Completing any applications and award submissions

// Liaising with relevant agency partners to ensure all press requests are fulfilled in a timely manner

// Managing the company's physical and digital filing system

// Managing studio running costs efficiently

// Managing the company database of suppliers with the designers

// Managing the company's Health & Safety policy and fire risk assessment, ensuring these are reviewed at appropriate times

// Responsible for keep the sample library tidy – the team librarian

// Taking ownership of the Company Handbook, updating all policies and procedures as and when necessary

// Working closely with the team through the recruitment process, organising interviews

// Managing the on-boarding process for all new employees and consultants, administer all documentation for new joiners and current employees

// Managing the annual employee review process, issuing the morale score and collating results

// Support the Directors in liaising with our external HR Consultant when required

Proactively manage the studio inboxes, prioritising and flagging key communications in a timely manner

// Tatjana's diary and working with our travel agent to manage Tatjana's international travel. Managing and preparing complex travel itineraries, e.g., Milan Saloni and personal trips. Coordinating some personal and all professional scheduling - ensuring seamless transitions between both

// Assisting in any organisational / admin tasks

An ideal candidate is aesthetically sensitive – with an appreciation design and brand representation. A highly resourceful problem-solver with discretion and emotional intelligence. Proactive, highly organised and capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously without compromising on accuracy. Attention to detail and the ability to use your initiative and to stay calm under pressure are essential for this role.

An enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude towards colleagues and clients, you will need to possess excellent communication skills and take great pride in your work to deliver an elevated customer experience. Supporting a positive studio culture by overseeing day-to-day wellbeing initiatives and maintaining an inspiring work environment is essential.

Salary

Negotiable based on experience.
