Overview

The Backbar position is an essential part of our Tipsyjar team, ensuring that the bar operates smoothly and efficiently during the busy service. This role involves supporting the bar team by being reasonable for making sure the bar is well stock with glasses, stock and maintaining the bar area is aways clean and tidy.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Prepare and restock the bar with necessary supplies, including glassware, garnishes, and beverages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the backbar area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Assist the cocktail bartender with glasses, garnishes and stock.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance customer service and overall experience.

Experience

• Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition towards customers and colleagues alike.
• A basic understanding of drink preparation and cocktail recipes is advantageous but not mandatory.

We are looking for a Cocktail Bartender to help build the team we continue to strive towards excellent customer service and cocktail experience.

We are looking for an enthusiastic bartender for our busy cocktail bar in the heart of Norwich. As part of the team you will be given full cocktail training, and will be responsible for delivering a high quality experience to our guests.

You must have:

• Experience of working in a cocktail bar

• Cocktail knowledge

• A positive attitude, working well in a fast paced environment

• Excellent attention to detail

• A commitment to delivering a great customer experience

Hours: Part time hours available (6-15)
