Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as our first construction apprentice. This entry-level position offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience and develop essential skills within a supportive environment. The role is designed to provide hands-on training, allowing apprentices to learn from experienced professionals and progress in their chosen field. Duties

  • Assist senior staff with daily tasks and operational activities relevant to the specific industry
  • Observe and learn technical procedures, safety protocols, and best practices
  • Support the team in maintaining equipment, organising work areas, and preparing materials
  • Participate in training sessions, workshops, and on-the-job learning opportunities
  • Complete assigned tasks accurately and efficiently under supervision
  • Contribute to team efforts to meet project deadlines and quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment in compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements

  • A keen interest in developing skills within the industry
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • Willingness to undertake training programmes and learn new techniques
  • Basic literacy and numeracy skills
  • Prior experience is not necessary; however, a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential
  • Must be aged 16 or over and eligible to work in the UK
  • Must have a valid driving license and be able to commute to work
  • Must be physically fit to labour in a construction role
