Allocation & Replenishment (A&R) Analyst

Our Role
The Allocation and Replenishment Analyst is responsible for ensuring optimal product availability across all retail channels whilst minimising stock cover. This role will analyse product and store level sales performance and demand trends to optimise replenishment parameters and maintain ideal retail stock levels.
What you'll be doing
Stock Allocation & Replenishment
- Set and regularly review replenishment parameters at category level to optimise availability and minimise retail stock cover
- Optimise sell-through and end of season markdown for seasonal / discontinued products with clear allocation switch off rules
- Review and set minimum allocation quantities at Department / SKU level to optimise DC picking efficiency
- Support A&R Manager with setting retail stock and allocation targets and work closely with allocatiors to ensure these are achieved daily
- Regularly review fragmented stock in the DC and ensure clear allocation strategy
- Check the morning & evening replen report to ensure daily allocations have been actioned correctly
- Support allocators with daily allocation activities when required
- Lead allocations for Outlet stores, ensuring a consistent flow of clearance stock all-year round
- Lead allocations for E-Concessions, optimising availability whilst carefully managing stock levels
Trading
- Support the production of comprehensive weekly store performance reporting, end of season and other ad-hoc analysis
- Monitor weekly sales, stock and availability at store / department level, review feedback from area managers and action key allocation responses
- Review and adjust replenishment parameters in line with seasonal shifts / promotions or unexpected demand spikes
- Execute stock movements across the store estate to prevent stockroom overstock situations, maximise sales and minimise markdown exposure
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Develop a thorough working knowledge of A&R systems and processes
- Undertake regular store visits and follow up clear actionable plans
- Collaborate closely with Merchandising teams to drive category performance
- Take responsibility for own personal development and to foster good working relationships across the business.
The Skills & Experience That You'll Need
- Excellent numerical and analytical ability
- Experience in Merchandise Planning / Allocation & Replenishment
- Relevant systems knowledge e.g. Island Pacific, Excel, Power BI
