About the role:

We're looking for a Senior Social-First Video Editor to join Coolr on a 3-month FTC. This is a key role in our post-production team—blending hands-on editing with creative leadership. We want someone who not only delivers exceptional social-first content but also inspires and mentors others.

The job

• Lead by example in crafting top-tier edits that combine pace, energy, and social-first storytelling.
• Mentor junior and mid weight editors — offering structured feedback, technical guidance, and creative coaching.
• Collaborate closely with creatives & producers to challenge briefs, improve workflows and elevate the creative output.
• Oversee multiple edits at once, ensuring consistency of quality, brand tone, and editorial voice.
• Support onboarding and training of new editors, freelancers and juniors.
• Work across an edit from proxy to grade and final delivery.
• Stay on top of social trends, emerging styles and platform evolutions — and feed that knowledge back into the team.
• Take ownership of creative output and delivery — pushing to raise the bar across Coolr's edit output.

What we are looking for

• Be a first-class, social-first video editor with a strong portfolio.
• Show an in-depth knowledge of editing for TikTok, Reels, YouTube Shorts and broader social formats.
• Be expert in Premiere Pro; confident in After Effects and Photoshop.
• Understand modern storytelling and be comfortable cutting quickly with confidence.
• Be comfortable directing others in edit, working across multiple timelines at once and giving timely, constructive feedback.
• Be a problem-solver with a calm head and a sharp eye.
• Be a strong communicator who is approachable and generous with knowledge.
• Love social and have a strong interest in emerging creator talent.
