Year 6 Teacher – Inspire & Lead the Next Generation

Location: Wandsworth
Start Date: April 2025 or September 2025
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum.
  • Prepare pupils for SATs, ensuring they feel confident and well-supported.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback to drive achievement.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports all abilities.
  • Work closely with colleagues to deliver a consistent and high-quality learning experience.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to support pupil progress and well-being.
  • Participate in staff meetings, CPD opportunities, and school events.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Year 6 and a strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Knowledge of SATs preparation and effective assessment strategies.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • A passion for education and helping pupils reach their full potential.
  • A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative and supportive school environment.
