Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Coffee Shop Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our coffee shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the restaurant industry, with exceptional leadership and team management skills. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising daily operations, maintaining high standards of food safety, and delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring efficient service and high-quality products.
  • Manage and train staff, fostering a positive team environment while promoting professional development.
  • Supervise food production and preparation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure availability of all products.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly, providing excellent service at all times.
  • Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with food safety standards.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to source quality ingredients for our menu offerings.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a restaurant or café environment, in a managerial role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Knowledge of food production processes and culinary techniques is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
  • Previous experience in bartending is considered a plus but not essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.00 per hour
