Summary

We are seeking a Level 3 Practitioner to join our team at Little Gems Day Nursery. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional care and education to children, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their development. This position is essential for upholding our commitment to high standards of childcare.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's learning and development.
  • Manage daily nursery routines and ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment.
  • Support the emotional and social development of each child through positive interactions.
  • Work collaboratively with the nursery team to maintain high standards of practice.
  • Safeguard and ensure the safety of each child.

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education is essential.
  • Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or educational setting.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
  • Leadership qualities are desirable but not mandatory.
