Job Description PragmatIC is looking for an enthusiastic LabVIEW engineer to join our expanding team working in testing and evaluation. The successful candidate will be excited about working within a ground-breaking technology and using LabVIEW and electronics knowledge to develop and refine our testing processes.
Key tasks:
  • Developing new software for control of semiconductor test systems
  • Maintaining and improving existing LabVIEW software projects
  • Communicating with technicians and engineers to best leverage software solutions
  • Maintaining documentation
  • Testing of PragmatIC's devices
  • Promote best practice for LabVIEW software development
Qualifications and training:
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a related science or engineering discipline
  • NI certified LabVIEW developer (an advantage)
  • Other software qualifications (an advantage)
Skills and experience:
  • Previous experience of controlling equipment using LabVIEW
  • Demonstrable use of other software languages (an advantage)
  • Knowledge of version control systems
  • Previous experience of git (an advantage)
  • Previous experience of SQL databases
  • Experience of fault finding, debugging and failure analysis (equipment and circuits)
  • Demonstrable experience working with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, parameter analysers, source meters
  • Demonstrable experience working with lab equipment such as VNA, Probe stations (an advantage)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate and disseminate information effectively to technical non-specialists
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and progress multiple projects in parallel
