what we need |
we're looking for a qualified accountant, who can work closely with senior stakeholders to support with planning and budgeting processes and generate reporting that offers valuable business insights. this role is based within wagamama but supports the entire group so involves regular communication with TRG's three divisions and central finance function. the role therefore requires someone who is dynamic, has great attention to detail and enjoys working with data
what you'll do |
- key business partner to the group's buying team, providing central support
- hold responsibility for spend HQ tool to track monthly inflation and validate procurement savings
- lead group utility hedge tracking
- manage stakeholders and consolidation of group's budgeting process, including both P&L and cash flow components
- support with managing models and roll up of forecast, budget and 3YP for both wagamama and the group
- assist with going concern and help liaise with auditors
- support in preparation of month end pack for the board
- ad hoc commercial analysis and insights to support manager on strategic projects and wider commercial finance team when needed
- establish strong credibility across all divisions, working in an engaging, supportive and objective manner
what you'll need |
- qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA or CIMA with 3 years experience
- strong technical and analytical skills with extensive experience using excel
- strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload effectively
- excellent communication skills and a strong team player
- confident in interacting with senior business stakeholders
- ability to build strong relationships
- proven track record of making complex information quick and easy to understand, to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
