Thyme is a neighbourhood cafe, located in Lowdahm village. Great, seasonal and local food is at the heart of everything we do at Thyme

We're looking for dynamic, enthusiastic people to come and join the team, preferably with restaurant kitchen experience

If you are a creative, enthusiastic, passionate and ambitious chef then Thyme is the perfect place for you to widen your culinary knowledge and advance your career.

As Chef de Partie, you will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef and will have:

A passion for cooking and to learn your craft

Excellent organisational and communication skills

The personality to keep motivated and motivate those around you

2 or more years experience in a similar role.

As Chef de Partie you will:

Be responsible for your own section

Maintain high service standards and food quality within the strict time constraints of a busy café deli

Be required to train and develop junior chefs.

What do you need to do well?

At Thyme you'll need to make sure our standard of food and service remains high at all times.

Contribution to our kitchen's team culture and sense of enjoyment will be fundamental to your success at Thyme.

This role will suit a current Chef de Partie with at least two years' experience in this position in a good fresh food establishment.

To excel at Thyme you will need to be passionate, reliable and hard-working.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
