About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and reliable Class 2 HIAB Driver
to join our close-knit machine moving team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys
variety in their working day
, problem-solving on site, and being part of a professional and highly skilled lifting & transport operation.

You will be responsible for safely operating a lorry loader (HIAB) vehicle to collect, deliver and position a range of industrial equipment and machinery across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Class 2 HIAB vehicle to safely load, transport and offload machinery and equipment
  • Carry out site moves, collections and deliveries across industrial, construction, commercial and engineering environments
  • Conduct vehicle and crane safety checks in accordance with company and legal requirements
  • Ensure loads are secured correctly and safely before travel
  • Work with site teams, customers and banksmen to ensure safe lifting operations
  • Complete delivery paperwork and digital job records accurately
  • Represent the company in a
    professional, polite and customer-focused manner
  • Assist with lifting operations, machine positioning and rigging where required

Person Specification

Essential:

Minimum age 25 (for insurance purposes)

Class 2 LGV (Category C) licence

Positive, "can-do" attitude with problem-solving mindset

Ability to communicate well with customers on site

Good awareness of load safety and site safety

ALLMI OR CPCS Lorry Loader (Unlimited)

Desirable (Training can be provided):

Experience in plant, machinery or specialist transport

Forklift, telehandler or slinging experience
