Here at Kamro we have partnered up with a local automotive service provider based in the Heart of Edinburgh. If youre a skilled and reliable mechanic, this is the role for you. This independent garage, known for its high-quality work and excellent customer service, is seeking an experienced mechanic to become an integral part of their team.

About the Role

As a mechanic at our clients garage, your role goes beyond just fixing cars. It's about taking ownership of each vehicle that comes through the door. Youll be diagnosing issues, carrying out repairs, and performing routine maintenance, all while ensuring that the highest standards of safety and quality are met. The beauty of working within this garage setting is the variety, no two days are the same. Youll work on a range of vehicles, from everyday family cars to more complex models, giving you the opportunity to continually expand your skill set.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday

8:30 AM 5:00 PM

No weekends, unless you are looking to work the odd Saturday for overtime which will be paid at time and a half

Key Duties

Conduct diagnostic checks and troubleshoot vehicle issues.

Perform vehicle repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.

Ensure all work is carried out to a high standard,

Communicate with customers when needed, providing clear and honest advice.

Key Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience as a mechanic or vehicle technician

Strong knowledge of vehicle systems and diagnostics.

Level 3 qualification in the automotive field or time served

Valid drivers license.

MOT Tester License (Preferred not essential)
