Manchester, New Hampshire, United Kingdom FMC Talent Full time £60,000 - £120,000 per year

Get satisfaction out of seeing your team succeed? Know a thing or two about being properly patient-focused in a sales process? Want to work somewhere that's got ambitious plans for the future? If the answer is yes, then this Regional Business Manager role focused on the North of the UK could be perfect for you.

Who's it for and what's in it for you?

This is for a company that produces medical devices and products that make patients' lives better – and more free - through care that's more personal, better quality, and always effective. Their products are all about giving people living with chronic conditions more freedom, from protective pouches for people with catheters, to wipes that help reduce irritation from medical adhesives. They've been trusted by patients and healthcare providers alike for over two decades.

They've got big plans for the future too, and here's your chance to be part of that. You'll be rewarded for your hard work in this role with a solid bonus scheme, a generous car allowance, and plenty of opportunity for career growth.

What will your day to day look like?

Growth That's what this role is all about. You'll be tasked with growing market share, the customer base, and ultimately revenue. You'll be in the field with your team and with customers, making sure they get the absolute best out of their products.

There's also coaching and mentoring involved in this role. You'll be leading a team of Territory Managers, giving them the support and direction they need to overachieve and reach their goals.

So how does this play out day-to-day? Well, an average week might look a little like:

  • Leading and coaching your team to hit their targets
  • Developing strategies for your region
  • Engaging with customers to reduce barriers
  • Leading on formulary and clinical guidance processes
  • Setting and tracking KPIs for your team
  • Forecasting sales, risks, and opportunities
  • Building strong relationships with KOLs
  • Pushing CRM management as a business development tool
  • Monitoring product performance in your region

This is a role where you can properly roll your sleeves up and make an impact – so if you love seeing your work play out front and centre you'll be happy in this job.

This role will suit you if you…

  • Have over 3 years' experience in medical device sales management
  • Regularly overachieve on your sales targets
  • Have sold consumables to the chronic or secondary care sectors
  • Have experience with ICBs and an understanding of the associated challenges
  • Can develop and mentor a high-performing team
  • Know how to manage multiple product portfolios
  • Experience gained with ICB's and understanding the challenges that come with this.
  • Talk the language of clinical customers
  • Love being out in the field meeting KOLs
  • Know how to put patients front and centre in a sale
  • Have a player-manager mentality

You'll need to travel across your region in this role too, so being comfortable with this is key.

Think this could be your next role?
