Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our warehouse environment. The key purpose is to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. The Warehouse Supervisor leads and supports warehouse staff, maintains high standards of safety and accuracy, and ensures all activities comply with company policies and operational targets.

Monday -Friday

Duties

Conduct and record daily security lockdown procedures in line with company security standards.

Complete daily perimeter checks to ensure site security and access control compliance.

Carry out Internal IMS Weekly Inspection Reports and ensure findings are actioned promptly/ Inform Management.

Ensure weekly forklift inspections are maintained, keeping accurate safety check records.

Ensure daily debrief reports from the previous night's operations are completed and emailed each morning.

Collaborate closely with the Transport Department to monitor truck ETAs and plan warehouse activity around given schedules.

Maintain constant awareness of Irish truck arrivals, ensuring efficient offload and turnaround at the depot.

Oversee operations within Unit 5 – Haier Biomedical, including updating system locations to maintain accurate and current stock records, , and that the warehouse is organised and ready for daily operations.

Oversee operations within Unit 7 – Cargo Warehouse, to ensure tidiness is maintained, and that the warehouse is organised and ready for daily operations.

Delegate tasks and allocate workloads based on staff abilities and current operational priorities.

Ensure Southern Ireland Groupage, Northern Ireland Groupage, and Irish Postal trucks are loaded and departed on time, in line with scheduled dispatch windows.

Skills

Skilled Forklifting abilities.

Understanding of the Internal System.

Ability to lead and motivate the warehouse team.

Remaining calm and collected during busy spells.

High attention to detail and ability to identify opportunities for efficiency to improve and reduce delays, promoting productivity.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Temp to perm

Pay: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
