Purpose of Role

To manage global waste packaging compliance requirements across all A2V markets, ensuring packaging data, waste declarations, and recycling symbols are accurate, compliant, and submitted on time.

This role ensures A2V's packaging meets country-specific waste, recycling, and labelling regulations — supporting sustainability commitments and customer trust.

Mission

To deliver accurate, compliant, and timely waste packaging data that enables A2V to meet global sustainability standards and maintain product readiness across all regions.

Accountabilities (A)

  • On-time submission of waste packaging data for all markets.
  • Accuracy and completeness of packaging material data and logo use.
  • Compliance with scheme requirements (e.g. OPRL, ARL, WEE, Cyclos, CITEO).
  • Effective tracking and reporting of packaging compliance activities.
  • Clear communication of updates and risks to the Compliance Manager.

Responsibilities (R)

  • Manage packaging compliance submissions for all markets, ensuring deadlines and data standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate packaging databases with up-to-date material and recyclability data.
  • Coordinate and approve recycling and compliance logos on packaging artwork.
  • Collect and verify packaging data from suppliers and internal teams.
  • Track and report on compliance status across customer and market requirements.
  • Monitor global waste packaging regulations and communicate key updates.
  • Support continuous improvement in packaging sustainability and data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with Product, Design, and Commercial teams to ensure packaging compliance is integrated early in the product lifecycle.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, and data tracking tools.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage large datasets accurately.
  • Genuine interest in sustainability and environmental compliance.

Desirable:

  • Experience with packaging compliance schemes (OPRL, ARL, WEE, Cyclos, CITEO).
  • Prior experience in compliance, sustainability, or supply chain.
  • Understanding of packaging materials and recyclability.
